Autumn in West Zealand

Enjoy the beautiful colours of the trees in the woods and really blow the cobwebs away with a walk along the beach. There are wonderful experiences aplenty. Down to earth, but always with committed, interesting people who make your visit a personal experience.
What about a horse and carriage ride on the island of Sejerø, Sct. Michaels Nat in Slagelse or a “kite ferry” with parachuting for teddy bears? In the autumn half-term holiday, we have a lot of exciting events – for children and adults alike.
We would also just like to mention our 340 km of coastline, seven small islands and 11 fascinating harbours. You can choose from our four very different market towns: Kalundborg, Korsør, Skælskør and Slagelse, – all
steeped in history, all of them great places to shop, with the option of a visit to a good restaurant or cosy café.
A trip to the theatre or a good concert are perfect autumn activities, too, and you’re spoilt for choice if you’re into art and crafts.
