Fuglsang Kunstmuseum

Prizewinning art museum amidst the landscape

Fuglsang Kunstmuseum is one of the few state-recognized, broadly inclusive art museum in the southern Zealand and Lolland-Falster region. The museum was designed by the internationally recognized English architect Tony Fretton, and the striking building creates a unique setting for a substantial collection of Danish art, with special emphasis on the period c. 1780-1960 - paintings, sculptures and artworks on paper.

Fuglsang Kunstmuseum is a beacon for art-lovers, where special exhibitions, new hangings of the collections and ongoing activities for children and grown-ups are organized regularly. The museum is since 2008 housed at Fuglsang Manor in some of the most beautiful countryside in Zealand, and the prizewinning museum building is adapted both to the art and the site.
